Internet Jurisdiction Policy Network

The Internet & Jurisdiction Policy Network is a multistakeholder organization addressing the tension between the cross-border nature of the internet and national jurisdictions. Its Paris-based Secretariat facilitates a global policy process between key stakeholders to enable transnational cooperation and policy coherence.

Our office supports the production of the world’s first Internet & Jurisdiction Global Status Report, which aims to address the policy challenges of coexistence of heterogonous laws on the cross-border internet. Through a global mapping, IJPN will enable evidence-based policy innovation and provide all stakeholders with the necessary information to develop frameworks and policy standards for the digital society. Denmark works closely with partners such as Canada and Germany in supporting the IJPN process.
