KPI 1

Contributed to Danish policy development on the tech industry’s business models.

Emerging technologies profoundly impact nearly every aspect of daily life, largely influenced by a handful of unprecedently large tech companies. Their products and services, which permeate everything from daily life to societal infrastructure, provide numerous benefits by removing barriers, lowering costs, and increasing inclusivity. Yet, these advancements also present significant challenges, particularly to societal norms and expectations to corporate social behavior. In many cases, traditional legal structures and regulations are inadequate to address these consequences. Recognizing that no single part of society is exempt from these challenges, Denmark has taken a whole-of-government approach to these issues.
