Denmark has historically been an early adopter of technology, both among adults and children. Aa large number of likeminded countries are seeing later adoptions of new technologies than Danmark, and as such, Denmark’s experience in risk mitigation, optimization and oversight is unique. As such, child and youth protection is a recurring topic in the bilateral meetings Denmark has in Silicon Valley, and one in which Denmark’s experience alongside existing products and solutions are a testament to Denmark’s role in the area.

· Ongoing conversations on the topic with other nations, focusing on legislation, regional cooperation and current trends.
· Hosted several site-visits for other countries participating in Cyber & Tech Retreat (See KPI 10) with notable social media platforms, by utilizing existing industry network and goodwill.
· Hosted several meetings with social media platforms and other nations.
· Has aided international colleagues and nations in immediate contact to platform executives, in case of national social media-emergencies.
