Who should apply?
- You are a Danish national enrolled at a Danish or foreign higher educational institution within a relevant subject, or a foreign national enrolled at a Danish higher educational institution within a relevant subject and have lived in Denmark for a minimum of 3 years.
- You are fluent in Danish and English (written and oral).
- You are well-versed in the MS Office Package (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- You possess an independent drive and a positive attitude when engaging in new tasks.
- You are curious, creative, and have strong analytical skills.
- You are open, credible, and observant.
- You are able to maintain a clear perspective and focus in stressful situations.
- You have not previously been an intern with the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

- We kindly ask you to only send one application focused on your professional interest and profile.
- Please note that your prioritised internships must be listed under the “Praktikophold i ovenstående land/region søges” panel using the application number e.g. TEC-1 or TEC-2.
- You find the application numbers under the individual internship description.
- In the “Alternative praktikmuligheder” pane, you can indicate if you would like to make your candidacy available for other potential internship opportunities within the Danish foreign service, in the event that you are not selected for one of your prioritized internships.
- Deadline for application is 1 September for internships during the spring semester and 1 March for the fall semester.

Practicalities
Interns are responsible for own expenses, i.e. plane tickets and housing. As part of the internship, we grant 5-6,000 DKK/month towards documented costs, such as rent.
